Donald D. Bloebaum

Donald D. Bloebaum, 73, of Clermont, Florida, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017.

He worked at Dal-Don Produce for 30 years until it closed in 2004.

He is survived by his brother, Bill Bloebaum, and his sister, Diana Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Ruth Bloebaum, and brothers, Dexter and Bob Bloebaum.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. on Oct. 20 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Clermont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church

Van Allen Lucas

Van Allen Lucas, 61, of Vincennes, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was born Sept. 10, 1956, in Vincennes, the son of Lawrence and Nellie Faye (Johnson) Lucas. He married Debbie Richardson on Nov. 5, 1976. He was an office manager at Fortner Pest Control. He enjoyed making Indian jewelry, making walking sticks, helping animals, being outdoors, horse races and the mountains.

Van is survived by his wife, Debbie, of Wheatland; his children, Chrissy Reeves and her husband, Scott, of Vincennes and Nicole Driskill and her husband, Donnie, of Wheatland; his sister, Judy (Larry) McCoy and her husband, Larry, of Monroe City; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and his brother, Larry Ray.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St., with Scott Soderling officiating. He will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the hour of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to be Knox County Humane Society or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
