Ella L. Hedge
Ella L. Hedge, 90, of Vincennes, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at Gentle Care Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 21, 1927, in Greene County, she was the daughter of Verner and Nella (Burcham) Canady. Ella retired as office manager at Prairie Farms. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are her daughters, Joyce Shepard of Vincennes, Rita Brooks and her husband, Dennis, of Mona, Utah, Debra Hedge of Vincennes, and Carol Goldman and her husband, Keith, of Vincennes; 11 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter P. Hedge, whom she married on July 5, 1945 and who passed away on March 6, 2003; and five brothers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3311 N. Old U.S. 41. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of services on Monday at the church. Goodwin Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

Donald L. York, 88, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, died on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017.
He was retired from Marathon Production and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris (Ullom) York; and his son, Douglas York.
Graveside services were Friday at the May Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home of Lawrenceville is assisted the family with the arrangements.
