Knox County Public Library

Mr. Carnegie’s Book Club at the Knox County Public Library (KCPL) is departing from the usual monthly discussion about a novel. The selection for this month is in the true crime genre. This genre is one of the most popular in the U.S.A.

It was written by Axton Betz-Hamilton, a native of Jay County. The book, entitled “The Less People Know About Us: A Mystery of Betrayal, Family Secrets, and Stolen Identity,” is an Indiana Authors Award Non-Fiction Shortlist winner. Focusing on identity theft and the havoc it wreaks, the book is her family’s story of duplicity and betrayal. The author, now a resident of Brookings, South Dakota, is a professor of health and human sciences at South Dakota State University.
