Generations will host a Caregiver Connection event on Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Vincennes University’s Robert E. Green Activities Center, 120 W. Harrison St. This is a day designed specifically for family caregivers (or those who care for friends, neighbors, etc).

The keynote speaker will be Deborah Day Laxson, author of “The Gray Zone: When Life Support No Longer Supports Life.”

The Alzheimer’s Association will provide caregiving information and CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions will speak on a new Indiana initiative — Dementia Friends Indiana.

A free lunch will be provided, and vendors will be available to provide valuable information.

The first 100 people to register will receive a free copy of Laxson’s book on the day of the event.

Seating is limited. Register online at www.generationsnetwork.org or by calling 812-888-4854.

For more information or to be a vendor at the event contact Cindi Holloway at 812-888-4267 or via e-mail at cholloway@vinu.edu.
