Community Get Fit Challenge 5K Training

Good Samaritan Hospital and the YMCA of Vincennes are teaming up again for a great event! Whether you’re looking to lose weight or become a runner, this Get Fit Challenge is for you! Join our community weight loss and 5K training challenge. Individuals can enter this 9-week training program with the goal to participate in two Good Samaritan sponsored 5K runs this fall and/or win monetary prizes for their weight-loss success. New Cardio Concert Fitness Class

Check out our new cardio dance class on Tuesdays and Thursdays with our new group fitness instructor, Jordan Carr. You don't need to know how to dance to have fun in this session! Follow along during this high-intensity cardio dance class to get a full body workout while dancing along to some of your favorite songs. 2019 Knox County Relay for Life Smart Shop

The YMCA of Vincennes will have a booth at the 2019 Relay For Life on Aug. 24 at Highland Woods Community Center. We will be participating in this event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come support Relay For Life!

The United Way of Knox County Campaign Kickoff

The YMCA of Vincennes will have a booth at the Vincennes Riverwalk from 4-6 p.m. on Aug. 29 to celebrate the United Way of Knox County’s Campaign Kickoff.

Free concert

First Vincennes Savings Bank and Bestway Express Inc. are partnering up to host a free concert on Aug. 30 at the Riverfront Pavilion, 102 N. Second St. Proceeds from food trucks and beverages will go to United Way agencies and the YMCA of Vincennes. Anthony Billups will be opening at 6:30 p.m. and Cody Canada and the Departed will be taking stage at 7 p.m.

Kids Mud Run sponsored by German American Bank

Muddy or not, here we come! The free Kids Muddy Mile will begin at 10 a.m. on Sept. 7 at YMCA Camp Green, located cross the street from the main building. Free hotdogs and snacks will be served, plus a free T-shirt will be given to those who register by Aug. 31. Come on out and play in the mud with your YMCA family!
