Second Sunday Nature Walks return this weekend

The Second Sunday Nature Exploration Walk series at Ouabache Trails Park is set to return on Sunday.

In celebration of Valentine's Day, this month's walk will be an exploration of all things love. Participants will be wandering the trails, keeping an eye out for heart shapes and sharing what they find. Participants are also invited to take photos.

Participants should meet Master Naturalist Terri Talarek King in front of the park office on Lower Fort Knox Road. The walk will begin at 2 p.m. on Trail 1, which is classified as “easy,” and will continue on Trails 2 and 4, which involve some steep slopes.

The walk will take place rain, snow, or shine. No fee or registration required. All are welcome and families are encouraged.
