United Way sponsoring tax preparation
The United Way of Knox County is again be sponsoring the free VITA (Volunteers in Tax Assistance) Service in February. This program is in collaboration with the Knox County Public Library and the Bicknell-Vigo Township Public Library in a drop-off fashion. Individuals regardless of age or income can drop off the required materials and pick them up the following week.
Knox County Public Library, 502 N. Seventh St., will have drop off times from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday and on Feb. 22.

Library hosting book signing for Brain Spangle
Local historian and Sun-Commercial columnist Brian Spangle will sign copies of his new book, “Hidden History of Vincennes and Knox County,” on the main floor of the Knox County Public Library, 502 N. Seventh St., beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Books will be available for purchase. The signing will be preceded by a brief presentation about the book and the publishing process.

Grow City Garden Workshops start on Feb. 18
The Grow City Garden 2020 Spring Workshops will begin on Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. in the sunroom at the Knox County Public Library, 502 N. Seventh St. Future workshops will be held on March 17 and April 21.
