'Autumn Ambling' Sunday at park

Take a casual walk on Sunday on the trails of Ouabache Trails Park, 3500 N. Lower Fort Knox Road, during the transition from summer to autumn. Look for signs along the way of summer's waning activity and preparations for the cooler season. Enjoy the scenery and sounds, and the change in the air.

Meet with local naturalist Terri Talarek King at 2 p.m. in front of the park office. The walk will begin on Trail 1 (after seeing the Lynn Wiseman Butterfly Garden) and will continue for 1.5 to 2 hours.

Autumn Ambling is part of the Second Sunday Nature Exploration walk series for 2019, all at Ouabache Trails Park. Walks are free, and no registration is required, and occur rain or shine. All ages are welcome, and families encouraged.
