Purdue University Extension will offer its final two-hour, online food and garden series from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday.The topic will be growing strawberries and making jams and jellies.

United Way seeks participants for meetings
The United Way of Knox County is looking for input from county residents to best assess the short- and long-term needs for individuals and families because of the Covid-19 impact.
A series of meetings will be held throughout the county over the next 4-6 weeks. Meeting locations include Bicknell, Bruceville, Emison, Sandborn, Oaktown, Freelandville, Westphalia, Monroe City, Verne, Wheatland, and Decker. Dates and sites will be announced in the next two weeks.
Community conversations of small groups of 10-12 people will be scheduled. These meetings will last about an hour in length. Those interested in participating can call 812-882-3624 or email contact information to email@example.com.
