Wreaths Across America deadline nearing
The Vincennes Kiwanis and Rotary clubs are teaming up again this year to host Wreaths Across America, an event that looks to place a wreath at the graves of all veterans buried in Vincennes cemeteries.
Wreaths are $15 each and can be purchased by individuals or businesses. A joint committee comprised of members from both Kiwanis and Rotary is seeking donations from area businesses, too.
The deadline for ordering wreaths is Sunday.
Order forms are available at various locations in Vincennes, including Vincennes Water Utilities, 403 Busseron St. To order online, go to WreathsAcrossAmerica.org or visit the local group’s Facebook page — Wreaths for Knox County. People may also call 812-882-8860. Checks can be made out to Wreaths for Knox County and mailed to PO Box 272, Vincennes, IN, 47591.
Wreaths Across America will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Dec. 17.
