Good Samaritan EMS

With a fourth truck possibly on the streets as early as next week, Good Samaritan is nearly fully ramped up to full capacity, officials told the county commissioners this week. In its first full month, Good Samaritan EMS answered more than 500 calls and is actively working on a partnership with VanGo for a non-emergent transport option.

Good Samaritan EMS will soon have four trucks available for 911 calls, officials told the county commissioners this week.

Good Samaritan EMS director Tim Benningfield said the organization’s fourth truck could be outfitted and on the road as early as next week; supply chain issues, he said, delayed the arrival of a “critical piece of equipment.”
