GRC to return to normal hours
Officials with the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park say they will return to daily showings of their park film, “Long Knives.” Visitors will be asked to socially distance when inside the theater, which will also be reduced to half-capacity.
The park did reopen following the COVID-19 shutdown but with restricted operations, including not showing the 30-minute retelling of Clark’s Illinois campaign.
Visitors will also now have more time to access the memorial itself; time has limited to just two hours. The memorial will now be open, upon request, between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
Visitors are still encouraged to begin their visit at the park visitor center, which is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
