Michael Carter

Michael “Scott” Carter, 65, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, died on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019.

He had been a park supervisor for the City of Lawrenceville.

Survivors include his wife, Karen (Hill) Carter; his mother, Betty (McKinney) Carter; one son, Bryan Carter; and one daughter, Michelle Carter Wells.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. CST on Thursday at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. CST until the hour of services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Robert Ernest Conrad

Robert Ernest “Bob” Conrad, 64 of St. Francisville, Illinois, died on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019.

He worked for Snap-On Tools

Survivors include his wife, Ginny (Painter) Conrad; one son, Russ Conrad; and one brother, Kenneth Conrad.

Doug B. Deyoe

Doug B. Deyoe, 77, of Decker, passed away on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Doug was born March 6, 1942, in Sandusky, Ohio, the son of Clifton and Genevive (Jamie) Deyoe. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service. He was with the 89th Air Lift Wing, working as a mechanic. Doug worked on Air Force One, and was a master sergeant. After retirement, he went to work for the postal service, working in the Evansville area, before retiring after 21 years. Some of his interests included scuba diving, flying radio control planes and golfing.

Surviving are his wife, Deloris “Dee” (Beamon) Deyoe, who he married on June 27, 1964; his sons, John Deyoe and his companion, Kathryn Griffith of Decker, and Jeffrey Deyoe and his wife, Kimberly, of Spring Hill, Tennessee; his sister, Cynthia Kasper and her husband, Jerry, of Sandusky; and his brother, Joseph Deyoe, of Sandusky.

His parents preceded him.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with his family from 11 a.m. until the hour of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
