Thomas Keasling Jr., 85, passed away July 26, 2020, at Harrison Spring Health Campus.
He was the youngest child of Thomas Roscoe Keasling and Cora Page Keasling.
He was born in Bicknell and graduated from Bicknell High School in 1953. Shortly after graduation he joined the Air Force in 1955 and after his enlistment was up in 1958 visited family in Southern California. Tom was sworn in as a patrolman in the Fontana Police Department and later joined the California State Alcoholic Beverage Control Agency in 1964 as an investigator. Tom retired from ABC as a district administrator covering San Bernardino and Riverside counties in 1990. During his employment with ABC Tom earned a masters degree in criminology.
Tom married Lynne C. Morris in 1987 in Ontario, Canada, and in 1992 they moved to Indiana, residing one year in Salem then moved to Corydon a year later.
Predeceasing Tom in death were his parents, six siblings, and several nieces and nephews.
Surviving are his wife, Lynne; daughter and her husband, Aerosita and Henry Helms; two granddaughters, Malia Helms and Calista Helms of Laguna Beach, California; son and his wife, Aaron Thomas and Rita Keasling of Apple Valley, California; and a special niece and her husband, Carole and Bill Albrecht of Bicknell. Tom was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by special friends in Corydon as well as many others.
Burial will be in Asbury Chapel in Bicknell with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
