Harold Wayne Peach Sr. 88, of Vincennes, passed away at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Lodge of the Wabash.
He was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Vincennes to Noble and Josie (VanLue) Peach.
Wayne retired after 33 years of serving in the Air Force and Air Force Reserves, serving his country during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Prior to the Air Force, Wayne worked for Gilliat and Thomas and ended his working career driving a bus for Vincennes University and the Vincennes Community School Corp.
Wayne was a fan of Indiana University and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Surviving are his wife, Marceline (Willis) Peach, whom he married Oct. 8, 1955; his children, Kimberly Anthis and her husband, Jim, of Vincennes, Candace Waynette Beard of Vincennes, and Harold Wayne Peach Jr. and his wife, Dianna L., of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Lindsey Scott, Whitney Twitty, Marcy Seyer, Delaney Anthis, Brandon Beard, Megan Harris, Daniel Ryan Peach, Clayton Andrew Peach, Harold Wayne Peach III; his step grandchildren, Cameron Campbell and Hayley Stephens; and his great grandchildren, Noland Scott, Camille Scott, Corinne Scott, Charleigh Harris, and Sullivan Wayne Harris, Maddylnn Beard, Nathaniel Beard, Brooklyn Beard, and Noah Peach; and step great-grandchildren, Amaya Morales and Oakley Query.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Assembly of God or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
