OAKTOWN — Robert David Cornelison, 63, of Bicknell, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022.

Bob was born April 4, 1959, in Vincennes, son to Shirley A. (Like) Cornelison and the late Robert Alva Cornelison.

Bob was a tool and die machinist for Johnson Controls and Vincennes Welding; after that he worked doing maintenance for Oak Village and Washington Nursing Center. Bob loved NASCAR, guns, and spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He was a member of the N.R.A and completed the Walk to Emmaus in 2013.

Those left to mourn the loss of Bob are his wife, Laurie Dian Cornelison; children, Jessica Cornelison of Bicknell and Lisa Wright of Bicknell; mother, Shirley Cornelison; four grandchildren, Madalyn Wright, William Wright, Mya Wright and Braden Racey; and siblings, Karen Mundy (Scott) of Oaktown, and Kevin Cornelison (Joyce) of Freelandville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Alva Cornelison; and father-in-law, James Stewart.

There will be a visitation from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday with a service immediately following at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Oaktown chapel. Burial will follow in Mariah Creek Cemetery.
