Judith Kay Clark

Judith Kay “Judy” Clark, 75, of Bruceville, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Oak Village in Oaktown.

She was born on May 16, 1944 in Sullivan, the daughter of Lee and Edith (Plummer) Padgett. Judy was a nurse and had worked at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Judy is survived by a sister, Nancy Padgett of Westphalia; nieces and nephews Kermit Trotter and his wife, Terri, of Loogootee, Doug Wiseman of Carlisle, Walter Trotter and his wife, Betsy, of Crossville, Tennessee, Debbie Repphan of Westphalia, and JR Padgett and his wife, Julie, of Westphalia; nine great-nieces and great-nephews; and 13 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Edith (Plummer) Padgett; her brothers, Robert “Bob” Padgett and Calvin Padgett; her sisters, Lois Wiseman and Mildred “Midge” Trotter; and her significant other, George Hoke.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on June 17 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Bicknell Chapel, 109 E. Sixth St., with pastor John Trotter presiding. Burial will be in Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on June 16 at the funeral home. Wanda L. Fox

Wanda L. Fox, 71, of St. Francisville, Illinois, died on Thursday, June 6, 2019.

She was retired from Champion Lab in Albion, Illinois.

Survivors include her husband, Monty L. Fox, and her brother, Joe Litherland.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. CDT on Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in St. Francisville with Pastor Irwin Bales officiating. Burial will take place in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. CDT until the hour of services on Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Francisville Senior Citizens Center. Cunningham Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Michael Earl Kean

Michael Earl Kean, 47, of Bruceville, passed away at 5:41 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in Carlisle.

Mike was born on Feb. 11, 1972 in Vincennes, the son of William Franklin and Sandra Lee (Fox) Kean. He was of the Pentecostal faith and had been a coal miner for Peabody Bear Run Mine for several years. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working on cars, spending time with his family and going to cookouts. Mike adored his son, Austin, the most and was very proud to be his dad. 

Survivors include his son, Austin Kean of Bruceville; his significant other, Nichole Mitchell; mother of his son and ex-wife, Melissa Kean; his siblings,Thomas Lee Kean, Teddy Franklin Hatfield, Starlet Dawn Kean, and Clarence Johnny Kean; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Kean, Elijah Kean, Amber Lane, Tyler Hatfield, James Wheeler, Joshua Hatfield, Erica Martinez-Lopez, Hayley Kean, Jeremiah Keneipp, Blake Kean, Dalton Kean, Harlena Kean and Braydon Kean; and his ex-father-in-law, Robert Hart.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may visit with Mike’s family from 11 a.m. until the hour of services at 1 p.m. on Monday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Pastor Jim Evans will officiate the services. Mike will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Riley Children’s Hospital. Marilyn L. Lewis

Marilyn L. Mossbarger Lewis, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

She was born on June 12, 1931 in Evansville to the late Theodore R. and Mary L. Mossbarger. Marilyn married Raymond Gilbert Lewis, and he preceded her in death March 11, 2016. She was a registered nurse for Community Hospital East for 16 years. Marilyn was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church and Beta Sigma Phi Philanthropic Sorority.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Linda L. Monette and Laura L. Frederick; her sister, Joyce A. Johnson; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel in Indianapolis. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Angela Hospice Care Center, 14100 Newburg Road, Livonia, MI 48154.
