Roy C. Richards
Roy C. Richards, 82, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019.
Roy was born on June 7, 1937, in Russellville, Illinois, to the late Jesse and Lula (Bird) Richards. Roy served in the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Johnson Controls and Noble Metals in Shelbyville. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman.
Roy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jane Watson Richards; a brother, Orville Richards; a sister, Mae Moyes; daughters Tammy Hill, Julie Richards and Kristi Richards, all of Lawrenceville, Illinois; sons, Larry Richards and his wife, Julie, of Dalhgren, Illinois, and Tony Watson and his wife, Amy, of Healy, Kansas; grandchildren Brooke Gher and her husband, Edge, Tiffany Spore and her husband, Nathan, C.J. Richards, Ian Winship and his wife, Harley, India Winship, Yzabella Winship, Jason Richards, Megan Richards, Arianna Watson, Seth Watson, Kael Watson, Chance Martin, Skyler Catiller; and great-grandchildren Jude DeCausey, Hallie Gher, Rylee Hunsaker, Blayke Harvey, Jadya, Kaitlynn, Lorilei and Myles Winship, Lincoln Fausnaught, Payton Catiller and Edward Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, William, Jesse, John and Frank Richards; his sisters, Agnes Harrington, Ruth Hays, Doris Dennison and Vonda Vollmer; and a great-granddaughter, Rowan Jade Harvey.
Services will be 10 a.m. CDT on Saturday at the Russellville Community Church with Pastor Curt Beadle officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Russellville Community Center for family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beadle Bunch Relay For Life or a Relay For Life of your choice. Arrangements were handled by Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
Judith Mae Scott
Judith Mae Scott, 82, of Vincennes, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019 at Willow Manor.
She was born on June 13, 1937 in Chicago to Percy and Betty (Sheperd) Scott. Judith was the lead nurse at Deaconess Hospital in the cardiac intensive care unit for many years. She enjoyed music, choreography, and volunteered at the Red Cross.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Trevor Murry officiating. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Judith Scott.
Gilmore, Sidney B., died March 11. Services: 11 a.m. on Saturday at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Monroe City.
