Elvin E. Hendrixson Jr.

Elvin E. "JR" Hendrixson Jr., 42, of Vincennes, has passed away.

JR was born on Aug. 12, 1977 in Vincennes, the son of Elvin E. Hendrixson Sr. and Vickie Catt Ellerman. He formerly worked for Horizon Construction Co. and enjoyed fishing, tinkering with various items. He enjoyed being with his family in any activity they were evolved in. 

He is survived by his sons, Kyle Hendrixson, Carter Hendrixson and Connor Hendrixson, all of Vincennes; his step-father, Arlen Ellerman of Vincennes; a brother, Eli Ellerman of Vincennes; a sister. Em Ellerman of Oceanside, California; and his former wife, Dawn Hendrixson of Vincennes.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Cole and Clint Hendrixson; his mother, Vickie Ellerman; and his father, Elvin E. Hendrixson Sr. 

A gathering to celebrate his life will be5-7 p.m. on Monday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home, 521 Vigo St. A short memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist the Hendrixson family during their time of loss
