Robert ‘Bob’ W. Garner, age 59, of Vincennes, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on Oct. 10, 1961, in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Sidney W. Garner and Sally (Payne) Fleetwood. Bob worked in the IT Department for the IBM Corporation. He was a member of the National Guard. His hobbies included going to concerts, camping, repelling, and rock climbing. He was known as Party Bob to his friends in Florida, and they enjoyed happy hour and vacationing together. Preceding him in death was his mother and one brother, Kevin Dean Garner. Survivors include his father of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one daughter, Ashley Kersting and her husband, Travis, of California; two brothers, John Darin Garner and his wife, Shari, of Dallas, Georgia, and Kriston L. Garner and his wife, Julianne, of St. Charles, Missouri; one half-sister, Whisper Shick and her husband, Matt, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and one grandson, Elijah.
