John W. Ferguson

John W. Ferguson, 55, of Vincennes, died on Thursday, April 4, 2019.

He had worked at the Vincennes Park and Recreation Dept.

Survivors include his sons, Johnathan Ferguson, and Brett Ferguson; and his sisters, Cheryl Walker, Judy Stacey and Rose Althoff.

Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. today at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main St.

George William Unsworth II

George William Unsworth II, 63, of Vincennes, passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the New Willow Manor.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1956 in Vincennes to George and Marie (Wheelden) Unsworth I. George had worked at Quick Kleen, WBM, and most recently at Walmart. He also had many hobbies he enjoyed such as hunting, fishing, gardening, and building military models.

Surviving are his sister, Evelyn Arend and her husband, Carl, of Evansville; his nieces and nephews, Stormie Durham and Chelsea Trent and her husband, Jason, and their son, Jace Unsworth and his companion, Lacey Hackney, and his children; his great niece and nephew, Kyle Remabcz and Amanda Beamon; and his companion, Denise May.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Cheryl Unsworth and Janet Rembacz.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. on Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery with David Willis officiating. Gardner Brockman is honored to serve the family of George Unsworth.
