Harold Leonard Clark, 69, of Oaktown, passed away July 27, 2020, at his residence.

Harold was born Jan. 12, 1951, in Vincennes the son of Goldie K. and Helen R. (Chambers) Clark. He worked for many years at Griffin Industries and retired from the company. He was a member of the Emison United Methodist Church. He loved the Lord and he loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He enjoyed the outdoors being an avid hunter and fishing. If you could not find Harold, he could be located on the riverbank or in a boat fishing.

He married Ernestine “Tina” Ridgeway, who preceded him in death. He married Marsha Cotterell on Dec. 19, 2009, and they made their life together for nearly 11 years.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Clark; his son, Harold Lee Clark and his wife, Dustie, of Bicknell. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tommy Fox, Cheyanne Clark and Hannah Clark; his brothers, Arnold Clark and his wife Patricia “Pat” of Vincennes, and Donald Clark and his wife, Ethel, of Emison; and a sister, Donna Conteres of Laredo, Texas.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Kenny Clark, George Clark, Bob Clark, Danny Clark and Mark Clark; and two sisters, Faye Clark in infancy and Mary Ammons.

The funeral will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel with Pastor Glenn Archer officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest next to his first wife, Tina Clark, in the Bicknell Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with the expenses of his last illness.
