Marilyn Kay Holloman

Marilyn Kay Holloman, 65, of Evansville and formerly of Vincennes, passed away at 2:28 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1953, in Vincennes to Ransom and Ruth (Cochran) Holloman who both preceded her in death. Marilyn was a 1971 graduate of Lincoln High School and graduated from Vincennes University a few years later.

She is survived by her sister, Carolyn WarmSun and her husband, Larry Cooke, of Oakland, California. Despite the years of difference in their ages, and the fact that they lived far from each other for most of Marilyn’s life, the sisters shared a unique and close bond of love and compassion. Marilyn is also survived by her aunt, Roberta Cochran and cousins Kathy McKee, Debbie Mosier, and Mike Cochran and their families of Washington; and her cousin, Brenda Mischler and her family of Newburgh.

Marilyn’s ashes will be taken to California to be scattered in the ocean she loved so much.  Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve Marilyn’s family.

Robert Wayne Racey Sr.

Robert Wayne Racey Sr., 80, of Bicknell, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

He was retired from Amax and a member of the Word of Life Church. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Carla (Hall) Racey; his sons, Robert W. Racey Jr., Thomas H. Racey, Randall J. Racey, Darrell Joe Racey, Bruce A. Racey and Ronnie L. Racey; his daughters, Brandy D. Mackey and Brianna N. Abrams; and his brother, Larry “Rex” Racey.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Word of Life Church, 7144 Russell Drive, with Pastor John Moreland officiating. Military rites will be provided by the All Weather Firing Squad. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Bicknell Chapel was entrusted with cremation services.

Helen I. Richardson

Helen I. (Horrall) Richardson, 89, of Wheatland, passed away at 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at BridgePointe Health Campus.

She was born in Michigan on Sept. 12, 1929 to Orval and Oma (Deckard) Horrall. Helen was a homemaker and was of the Protestant faith.

Surviving are a son, Michael Richardson of Wheatland; her brothers and sisters, Pat (Horrall) Hubbs, Jeannie Cunningham, Karen (Horrall) Uptegrove, Judy (Horrall) Werner, Ruth Horrall, Janice (Horrall) Walker, and Terry Joe Horrall, all of Arizona, and Linda Kraft of Buffalo, New York; a niece, Debbie Lucas; and nephews, Tim Schutter, David Schutter, Mark Schutter, and Bobby Lee Schutter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert E. Richardson; a son, Robert Richardson; two brothers, Donald A Horrall and Randy Horrall; and two sisters, Betty Mollahan and Dorothy Ward.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. on Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Helen Richardson.
