Robert Wayne Racey Sr.
Robert Wayne Racey Sr., 80, of Bicknell, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
He was retired from Amax and a member of the Word of Life Church. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Carla (Hall) Racey; his sons, Robert W. Racey Jr., Thomas H. Racey, Randall J. Racey, Darrell Joe Racey, Bruce A. Racey and Ronnie L. Racey; his daughters, Brandy D. Mackey, Brianna N. Abrams and Tammy J. Racey; and his brother, Larry “Rex” Racey.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at the Word of Life Church, 7144 Russell Drive, with Pastor John Moreland officiating. Military rites will be provided by the All Weather Firing Squad. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Bicknell Chapel was entrusted with cremation services.

Gerald Eugene “Gary” Rickard Jr., 68, of Vincennes, passed away at 1:38 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his residence.
Born on July 4, 1950 in Vincennes, he was the son of Gerald E. and Betty (Ravellette) Rickard, Sr. Gary retired after 43 years from Wabash Steel/Vincennes Steel. He was a member of the Eagles and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving are his children, Heather Lytle of Vincennes, Keith Rickard of Vincennes, Joseph Rickard and his wife, Victoria, of Oaktown, and Leslie Brewer and her husband, John, of Monroe City; a brother, Charles Rickard of Vincennes; his sisters, Vicki Schenbeck of Sullivan and Brenda Daggett of Bruceville; along with six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald E. Rickard Sr.; his mother, Betty Chattin; and two brothers, Richard and Donald Rickard.
Friends may visit with Gary’s family from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Gary Rickard.
