BICKNELL — Lucille Robbins, 94, of Freelandville, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022.
Lucille was born on Aug. 21,1928, to the late Anna (Albrecht) Struckmeier and Fred Struckmeier.
Lucille and her husband, Warren, raised her four sons on the same farm where she grew up and she was proud of that. She worked as a volunteer beautician from 1968 until her retirement in 2003 at the Freelandville Community Home. She was a member of the Knox County Homemakers Club for many years. Shirley Miller and Lucille taught Sunday school class at the Bethel Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Those left to mourn the loss of Lucille are her children, Fred Robbins (Wilma) of Oaktown, Joe Robbins (Jane) of Bruceville, Bill Robbins (Brenda) of Bruceville, and Gary Robbins of Vincennes; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, George Warren Robbins; her parents; and a sister, Marjorie Borgmeier.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Bethel Church with burial following in Bethel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Church or the Vincennes Animal Shelter.
