Wilburn R. Cozart, 76, of Vincennes, died on Thursday, Oct. 3 2019.

Survivors include his son, Mark Cozart, and three sisters.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St.

Alberta V. Cunningham

Alberta V. Cunningham, 95, of Vincennes, passed away at 2:24 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at BridgePointe Health Campus.

She was born on Aug. 18, 1924 in Vincennes to Raymond Charles and Inez (Bennett) Cleghorn.

Surviving are her children, Sam Cunningham of Vincennes, and Kay Halter and her husband, Dick, of Vincennes; her granddaughters, Samantha Cunningham of Vincennes, Dana Greenwood and her husband, Kevin, of Vincennes, and Kelly Yurkain and her husband, Joe, of Fort Wayne; a great-granddaughter, Hannah Greenwood of Vincennes; her step-great-grandsons, Patrick and Bradley Yurkanin of Fort Wayne; and a half-brother, Rick Cleghorn of Farmersburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmer Cunningham.

Graveside services will be 2:45 p.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery with Georg Karl officiating. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. today at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Memorial contributions may be made to the choice of the donor.  Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Alberta Cunningham.

Betty Jane Hall

Betty Jane Hall, 94, of St. Francisville, Illinois, died on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019.

Survivors include her children, Reggie Hall, Debbie Carmichael and Danny Hall; and her twin sister, Patty Feioch.

Services will be 11 a.m. CDT on Saturday at the United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. CDT until the hour of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francisville Senior Center directly.

Tyra D. Knotts

Tyra D. Knotts, 60, of Vincennes, passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis with her family at her bedside.

Tyra was born on May 22, 1959 in Vincennes, the daughter of William Miles and Shirley Howder Gray. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and became a dedicated certified nursing assistant. She married Jack Knotts and they made their life together for over 35 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed anything to do with her family and was always there for them and her friends NO MATTER WHAT!

Tyra is survived by her husband, Jack Knotts; her children, Wendy Miles and her fiancé, Brandon Hooten, Ben Ford, Brad Ford, Sandy Knotts and her fiancé, Paul Burton, Nicole Candler and Amanda Morton, Bob Bilskie, Wayne Followell and Brittany Campbell, all of Vincennes; her beloved grandchildren, Brant Bilskie, Trevor Bilskie, Dustin Bilskie, Shaleigh Followell, River Followell, Halle Ford, Cash Ford, Reece Ford, Raygen Ford, Mia Ford, Macy Hooten, Dalton Cary, Braylee Followell, Mason Followell, Damien Burton and Aubrey Bedwell; a sister, Jody Miles of Vincennes; her nephews, Keith Childers, Kyle Childers, Cody Miles; a great nephew, Noah Childers; and her close friends and her many cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home, 521 Vigo St. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. with services at 4 p.m. with with T.J. Sutton officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the family to assist with the expenses of her illness. Duesterberg-Fredrick is honored to assist Tyra’s family during their time of loss.
