Kristen Michelle Cook

Kristen Michelle Cook, 50, of Vincennes, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 14, 2019.

Kristi was born in Anchorage, Alaska on Aug. 4, 1968, the daughter of Edward J. and Ruth I. (Donovan) Witsman. She had worked in web site development and was of the Presbyterian Faith. She also enjoyed playing euchre.

Survivors include her parents, Ed and Ruth Witsman of Vincennes; her aunts, Marjorie L. Beamon of Vincennes, Nancy Allen and Freida Christmas; and numerous cousins.

Friends may visit with Kristi’s family from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Kristi’s funeral service will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Association. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to assist Kristi’s family with arrangements.

Joanne Brooke Diver

Joanne Brooke Diver, 91, of St. Francisville, Illinois, died on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

She was an educator.

Survivors include her daughter, Judith Phipps.

Services will be 10 a.m. CDT today at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be 9 a.m. CDT until the hour of services today at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Village-North Campus directly or through the funeral home. Cunningham Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Sharon S. Musgrove

Sharon S. Musgrove, 71, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, died on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

She had been the county coordinator for the worked for the Lawrence County, Illinois, Industrial Development Council. She attended Beulah United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her father, George Compton; two sons, Brian Musgrove and Brent Musgrove; a daughter, Canda Twitty; two brothers, Gary Compton and J.R. Compton; and three sisters, Judy Andrews Carol Waldrop and Kathy Lappin.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. CDT on Thursday at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. CDT on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America.

Wilma Jean Vaughn

Wilma Jean Vaughn 73, of Vincennes, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1945, in Vincennes, the daughter of Willis and Edna (Ridgley) O’Brien. On April 17, 1963 she married Lawrence Vaughn Jr. and he preceded her in death.

Wilma loved to crochet and spend time with her children and all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Lawrence Vaughn III and his significant other, Liz Kemp, of Evansville, Noel Vaughn and his wife, Gail, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Matt Vaughn and his wife Coti, of Vincennes; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Willis O’ Brien of Washington state.

Along with her husband, Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Judy and Dorothy O’Brien; and two grandchildren, Curtis and Blake Vaughn.

The family will hold a graveside memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Fredrick and Son McClure- Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel was entrusted with cremation services.
