I am writing about the AP FACT CHECKS columns often featured on your editorial pages. I don’t believe they are what they pretend to be: objective journalists setting the record straight.

Numerous reputable web sites point out that these AP writers engage more in fact twisting than fact checking. It’s pretty obvious their writings reflect a strong anti-Trump, anti-conservative agenda. I don’t recall equivalent zeal on the part of the AP to “fact check” Obama and Clinton.

I believe, however, the kind of media bias demonstrated by the AP is backfiring. President Trump’s approval ratings continue to rise, while the media’s trust ratings continue to sink.
