My thanks to the reporter for the nice article on correcting the current spelling of the names of some Vincennes streets. The information on Burnet Lane and Burnet Heights appeared without mishap.

With reference to the spelling of the street now spelled Rousillion, the book by Hubbard Madison Smith, M.D., copyright 1902, refers to the name of "Alice of Old Vincennes" a number of times as spelled Roussilon. Then, I looked at the book I have of "Alice of Old Vincennes" (which I had hesitated to open from its protective wrapping) and discovered it spells the name of Alice and several other people ROUSSILLON, so that must be the correct way to spell it.

I do not intend to look further.
