If you believe the moon is made of green cheese, it’s obvious you have ignored a lot of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. So it is with The Sun-Commercial's constant stream of editorials bashing the work of the Vincennes Redevelopment Commission.

The newspaper consistently ignores the numerous projects supported by the RDC which is contributing to the city’s economic development.

Even if your fantasy came true and the RDC was abolished, the results would not be what you think. Due to a whole series of tax caps put in place by the state, it’s very unlikely that even part of the revenues spent by the RDC would be absorbed by the school corporation. This is not a zero sum game.

But there again, it’s all about green cheese.
