Sierra Mullins contributed in all of Lincoln’s scores, including three goals, and the Alices popped Washington Catholic, 5-2, in a girls soccer match at the Lincoln pitch Wednesday.

Mullins assisted Mia Cory for the game’s first goal in the eighth minute, and Mullins’ first score came 11 minutes later. She scored her second tally on a corner kick in the 33rd minute to make it 3-0, but the Cardinals tallied twice in the final six minutes to make it a 3-2 margin at halftime.

Mullins completed her hat trick in the 61st minute, and she assisted a Victoria Jackson score in the 73rd minute. Keeper Madalynn Grube made 17 saves for the Alices (3-3).

“We played well. Defensively we had some things to figure out from the first half, but we came back and had a strong second half,” Lincoln coach Kellie Cargal said. “We had some great passing strings. Sydney Fuller played one of her best games and was aggressive to the ball.”

The Alices play at North Knox at 5 p.m. Monday.
