None from Rivet and South Knox was named to the all-Blue Chip Conference girls tennis team recently, but the two Knox County schools combined for seven of the nine honorable mention spots.
Four singles players and three doubles teams were selected all-conference, and the Patriots were surprisingly shutout considering they finished third in the league.
Honorable mention picks from the area were Rivet's Bella Atkinson, Maggie Earley, Macee Hamilton and Avery Vantlin, and South Knox's Mykayla Couchenour, Ella Hays and Lauren McCrary.
All-conference singles selections were Melaina Tippery and Emily Wade, Loogootee; Moriah Bullock, Barr-Reeve; and Chloe Terwiske, Northeast Dubois. Doubles teams were Kadee Claridge-Kaitlyn Mincey, Barr-Reeve; and Delaney Rasche-Olivia Schroenring and Paige Knies-Alexis Stafford, Northeast Dubois.
Washington Catholic had the other two honorable mentions, Hallie Leischner and Jenny Lopez.
The Jeeps were conference champions at 6-0 and were followed by Barr-Reeve 5-1, Rivet 4-2, Loogootee 3-3, Wood Memorial 2-4, South Knox 1-5 and Washington Catholic 0-6.
