HUNTINGBURG — Caleb Newman and Jacob King recorded first places, helping Lincoln's boys swim team place second in a triangular meet Monday.
Evansville Central topped the Alices, 125-67, while Southridge had eight. Newman claimed the 200-yard individual medley in 2:36.48, while King was best in the 500 freestyle in 6:15.12.
The host Raiders took the girls meet with 142, while Central had 108 and Lincoln 52.
The Alices swim at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Pike Central.
South Knox C-team
improves mark to 8-1
DUBOIS — Parker Kimmell scored 20 points and South Knox's C-team controlled Northeast Dubois, 54-30, Monday.
Clayton Peterson added 13 for the Spartans (8-1), Damon Wallace eight, Aaron Brown six, Jackson Hoops four, Pedro Pantall two and Lodan Yarber one.
7-8 Warriors split with
White River Valley
BICKNELL — North Knox and White River Valley each won games in seventh and eighth grade basketball Monday.
The Wolverines took the eighth-grade game, 55-38. Carter Lemberg had 10 points for the Warriors (3-7), Cohen Williams nine, Kade Groteguth five, Caleb Bottum four, Austin Jones three, Blake Goodwin, Dallas Cardinal and Connor Liston two and Kaden Boyles one.
North Knox's seventh grade (6-4) rolled, 39-13. Lane Adams scored 13, Brennan Messel and Braxton Yenne seven, Cole Kerns five, Mark Lehmann four and Garret McGuire three.
The Warriors play at Clark at 6 p.m. Thursday.

girls trip Cougars
ELNORA — North Knox's sixth grade dominated while the fifth grade also snagged a win in girls basketball games at North Daviess on Monday.
The sixth grade stayed unbeaten, 32-6. Bailee McClure led the Warriors with 15 points, Lexi Primus, Jade Richter and Hayden Coats scored four, Rozlynn Thorne three and Delani Prior two.
The fifth-grade Warriors nipped the Cougars, 14-12. Kenzi Davis led North Knox (2-3) with six points, Taylor Hammelman four, and Roselyn Armes and Audrey Worstell two.
The Warriors host Washington Catholic at 6 p.m. today.
