Lincoln golf outing

set for April 4

Lincoln's golf boosters are hosting a “Final Fore” golf outing fundraiser for the boys and girls teams on April 4 at the Country Club of Old Vincennes.

Lunch and registration begin at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost is $50 per golfer and $200 per foursome. Sponsorships are available for $100 per hole, and a $100 long drive/closest to pin are scheduled.

The outing coincides with start of the NCAA men's basketball Final Four, and a Final Four square board has open squares to purchase. For $10, participants receive one square on the board and a mulligan for the round of golf. Final Four games will be on in the clubhouse after the round, and donations will also be accepted.

The goal of the fundraiser is to lessen expenses for parents, which include meals after away matches, add training aids for the indoor facility and other improvement ideas for the boys and girls programs.

Those interested in registering should visit the Vincennes Lincoln Golf Facebook page or call or text 812-821-6980 by April 1.
