Delaynee Coomes came off the bench to score 16 points, and host South Knox never trailed in silencing Class A No. 9 Northeast Dubois, 53-44, in a Blue Chip Conference girls basketball game Tuesday.

Bren Hill fought foul troubles to chip in 13 points and Ella Bobe added 12 for the Lady Spartans (3-2, 1-0 Blue Chip). Emmersen Kalb tallied 13 points and Rhylan Kalb 11 for the Jeeps (3-2, 0-2), who continue to have trouble in Knox County.
