BLOOMINGTON — Led by Lily Waggoner's 92, Rivet opened up its girls golf season with a 13th-place finish in a loaded 18-team field at the Bloomington South Invitational at Bloomington C.C. on Monday.

No. 1 Evansville North topped No. 2 Carmel, 294-313, to win the invite. The Patriots shot a 422, topping Class 4A schools Jasper, Columbus East and both Bloomington schools.
